Great case for a limited edition 3ds

Simple cover for limited editiontype of consoles

I ordered this case and was a bit hesitant at first. I am happy that this case is made up of two different pieces as opposed to being one single case. While it does add a bit of weight to my XL, it also feels very secure and protected. This is a great alternative to having to carry the XL in a pouch. The only drawback is that due to "hugging" the XL closely, you might notice marks the case makes up against the body of the XL. However, this is only cosmetic and the XL is nice and safe underneath the case. This is another one of those great Hori products.

Because it has a nice snug fit, you can put paper printouts underneath to sort of customize your 3DS and they won't move around. Only complaint is that the top-right section of the bottom protector squeaks a bit when squeezed (i.e. it's the only corner that isn't fully snug). I'm not sure if this is typical, but it could be do to the fact that there's less plastic in that general area to hold it right where it should be (borders the top edge, with a generous sized cutout for the stylus and sd card right below it).
