Be As One
It\'s hard to believe that this Japanese R&B vocal outfit has been around for more than a decade. It seems like only yesterday when the five-man Gospellers released their eponymous debut in 1995. Maybe this has got to do with the fact that they are still peddling the same soulful sound and lucious harmonies which are then nicely blended with an upbeat urban or J-pop backdrop. Maybe there is a certain timelessness about their music, which explains why their latest album, Be As One, seems seamless from where they left off last, offering such delightful moments like Street Corner Symphony and Let It Go.
