Dear Shinji Mikami,

Thank you for all the scares, the tension, and the introduction of an entirely new genre. Thank you for giving zombies a much needed boost in popularity when vampires and aliens were the scare du jour. And above all else, thank you for bringing to world a universal good - thank you for the Jill Sandwich.

Today we present 2 titles that have and will define 14 years of Mikami San's career, and just for the sake of it, we've thrown in a special Daily Deal annoucement on the bottom! PROCEED IF YOU DARE...

PlayStation®3 [Survival Horror]

PROTIP: Capcom have announced the ASIA version for the Biohazard HD Remaster and it will include both English and Japanese voices and subtitles! Using previous Capcom titles released under similar circumstances as a guideline it is fairly safe to assume the game will switch languages based on your console's default language. If your console is set to English the entire game will play in English, and the same goes for Japanese.

Relive the 2002 GameCube title Resident Evil/Biohazard in all of the upgraded HD glory! PS3/360 versions of the title will offer 720p and run at 30 frames per second while PS4/XB1 will run at 1080p. The game will feature 5.1 surround sound support and both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.

Players can once again join S.T.A.R.S. members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as they attempt to escape the Mansion. Brave what lurks in the dark enclosed spaces and search out the horrors that lie in weight. With limited ammo and survival items Biohazard forces players to keep their wits about them in order to survive the various traps and puzzles that greet them at every turn.

The classic controls will remain a part of the game for fans who want to play in the original style, while alternative controls (where the character moves in the direction of the analog stick) are also available.

Biohazard HD Remaster releases on November 27 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (Digital).

The ASIA version will include both Japanese and English voices and subtitles.

PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox One™, Xbox 360™ [Survivial Horror] [Single Player]

Revealed in 2010 as “Project Zwei,” The Evil Within is a survival horror game with high expectations: as the alluded final directorial work of Shinji Mikami – the master of Survivial Horror and the creator of the Resident Evil series, this new title encapsulates the desire of Mikami Sensei's mission in reviving the very genre he helped invent.

Taking a steep detour away from the current “dramatic horror” approach of it's contemporaries – ie games that feature horror elements overshadowed by gratuitous action sequences, The Evil Within carries it's pedigree with a careful take on pacing, suspense, and a sense of helplessness surrounded by mystery.

Follow the unfortunate circumstances of Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partner who find themselves in a world of madness; only by facing their fears can they defeat the powerful dark forces that threaten their survival and sanity.

To ensure that the feeling of the genre permeates with gameplay, players, in lieu actual weapons, can use a multitude of traps back against the grotesque foes who set them; suspense takes a whole new aspect as the combination of imagination and resourcefulness under duress brings survival to a harrowing level.

Japanese version has an optional DLC to restore the removed gore-related content to appease ratings boards.
Chinese Subtitles only available on the respective PlayStation®4 and
PlayStation®3 Asian Versions.
