Paris Games Week 2017 – PlayStation 2018 Games Preview

Guys – have you watched the Paris Games Week PlayStation live stream yet? Just in case you missed it, here is the trailer line up of the key PS4 and PSVR games shown yesterday at Paris Games Week, check this out!

VR Titles

Stifled – 31 October 2017

Stifled definitely is one of the most eye-catching PSVR games launching at Halloween. Players were awaked entirely in the dark. Between terrifying forests and underground scenery, you are left to your own devices to explore bleak and creepy areas. As the trailer shows, you have to make noise to illuminate the area, but that also pay’s a deadly price!

 

Blood & Truth – release soon/TBC

Sony’s London Studio revealed their new VR game Blood & Truth, which is inspired by the previous action game, The London Heist.  The game genre is FPS that puts players in the role of Ryan Marks, a soldier who returns home to London and try to rescue his family. However, Sony hasn’t announced an actual release date for the game yet.

Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown – soon 2018

Warning! Warning! [DESTROYED]…  After 4 years, Capcom is finally bringing back the Ace Combat series.  The game is developed with “Unreal Engine 4”, input “trueSKY” technology to simulate realistic horizon and landscape. The game was originally slated for release in 2017 but the dev team delayed it till 2018 due to production quality. Capcom has also announced Skies Unknown will be included in the VR content.  Don’t dive into water lol.

During the Paris Games Week, Jim Ryan, chairman of SIE Worldwide Studios, said that six of the triple-A games now have PlayStation-exclusive features:

  • Far Cry 5 comes to America in the latest installment of the award-winning franchise. Welcome to Hope County, Montana. confirmed releases on 27 February 2017.
  • Destiny 2, the new story trailer for this big new update drop for the game. Evil machines, etcetera etcetera. Head to Mercury in Curse of Osiris –  the first DLC will available on 5 December 2017.
  • Monster Hunter World, the debut of the trailer of some new areas of the game. The PlayStation exclusive beta will be available on 9 December 2017 and confirmed will crossover with Horizon: Zero Dawn.
  • Call of Duty: WWII, Sony continuing on with the exclusive deal with price setting. A bonus map for players pre-order the season pass and dynamic theme.
  • OnRush, the brand-new game from Codemasters. Drive like Madmax,  against a pack of intensely fierce competitors.Let It Roll Summer 2018!
  • Star Wars: Battlefront 2, no doubt the biggest title in coming PS4 game list, a new Force Theme will coming next week!
