The game is a raising simulation and a rhythm video game series. It started out as a simple arcade game way back in 2005 and fortunately propel its way up to several video game platforms and even produced for different types of media such as anime, audio dramas, printed media and radio shows. The Idolmaster has seen different levels of success and consistently making a hit for their new release of interesting games like The Idolmaster: Stella Stage.

The story of the game mainly concentrates on its purpose which is to give birth to legendary idols and make Stella Stage a one winning extraordinary concert of all time. There are two set of productions in this game: one is the 765 Production and the second one is the 961 Production. These two productions are lead by two great presidents. Junjirou Takagi for the 765 Production and Takao Kuroi for the 961 Production.

The two President made a plan before and it is to conduct a big concert project known as the Stella Stage. This project deals with the training of prospective pop idols on their way to stardom. Supposedly, it’s going to be a big hit concert in history at an enormous venue. The stars of the concert would have probably been the talks of the whole town for their legendary all-out performances. But since the presidents of the two productions are like cats and dogs, the project came to a delay and never made it to the stage.

As the player, you will be part of the 765 Production Team and Takagi will assign you to be the Producer. The success of Takagi’s dream is now in your hands. Take this an opportunity to put the 765 Productions’ name to fame and prove them all that you’ve got what it takes to be a concert producer.

In order for you to succeed in this journey, it is your job to train well the 13 idols that will also raise up the productions’ victory. However, Kuroi, as your rival to stardom, won’t just let you hit that success he also strives for. To hinder 765 Production way to the summit, 961 Production has one unrevealed talent that will be your one great competition.

Your goal is to keep forming up your characters perfectly. You have to give your talents’ the exposure they may be needing to succeed and it is done through constantly sending them to concerts to perform. The concept of the rhythm game segment is for you to press the action buttons at the perfect timing, to win. Moreover, as part of the characters’ training, you have to keep on engaging them in various promotional activities. In addition, there is a new feature called Coaching System. This allows the characters to be placed on a board and makes them move around. This actually makes them better which is perfect for their progress. Furthermore, it will also give them the opportunity to relax and recover when they feel tired.

Work hard and mold your characters very well to bring the 765 Production to a record-breaking concert in the history!
