Secret of Mana is an upcoming full 3D remake of its original title. The game is originally released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 2 in 1993 for Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is an action-role-playing-game developed and published by Square Enix. The remake is set to release on the 15th of February 2018. So, dust off your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita Consoles and prepare to embark your journey in the small village of Potos.

This remake of the game is flawlessly done with its new features which include graphical upgrade, improved musical arrangement, and even the voice-overs. In addition, they have also added one feature that most players of the game will surely love, which is the online multiplayer that can cater up to three members.

【TRAILER】

The story of the game focuses on the misbehavior and curiosity of one village boy that led him and his two companions to great danger. It all started out in their small village known as Potos. The three boys were warned by their Elders to never go to the local waterfall, where a treasure is believed to be hidden. But because of their misconduct, the trio head on and trespass into the local waterfall.

One of the boys trips and falls into the lake. There he discovers a rusty sword nested in a stone. Suddenly, they heard a mysterious voice out from nowhere and enticed him to pull the sword free. Unexpectedly, as soon as the sword was set free, monsters unleashed everywhere neighboring the woods of the village. The villagers decipher the sword’s removal as an evil omen and dismiss the boy from Potos for a lifetime. Finally, a traveling knight named Jema helped the trio to find a way out to stop the curse. Jema then recognizes the blade as the legendary Sword of Mana. To end this affliction, Jema encourages the trio to re-energize the sword through visiting the eight Mana Temples.

The game features three characters: the hero, the girl, and the sprite, named Randi, Primm, and Popoi. Each character possesses unique strengths and weaknesses. The hero masters weapons at a quicker rate, however, he is inefficient to utilize magic. The girl is a healer, she can cast restorative and support spells while the sprite casts terrible magic to harm and destroys enemies.

Join the trio on their remarkable journey and help them return the legendary Mana Sword back to its place beneath the Potos waterfall.
