Originally released in Japanese arcades in 2015, the third Dissidia Final Fantasy installment finally comes exclusively on PlayStation 4 on January 11 (Japanese version)!  The western version will be available Jan 30.
Developed by Square-Enix and Team Ninja, this hyper fast battle game is surely one of the most awaited games of this new year.
Following the story of the previous chapters, in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT the war between Cosmos and Chaos is still raging. The Goddess Materia – the Sublime Goddess of Protection and the God Spiritus – the Savage God of Destruction – have summoned the bravest warriors from the whole Final Fantasy multiverse to reclaim their supremacy on all the worlds!

Set in the timeless grandeur of Final Fantasy mythology, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will immerse you into an epic war for dominance between the powerful Gods. The mightiest characters from Final Fantasy series gathered once again in the Dissidia world to fight in this eternal divine conflict between harmony and chaos, the victorious warriors will decide the fate of the worlds and, above all, get a chance to return home.

Choose between more than 20 iconic heroes and villains splitted in four fighting style categories: the powerful Vanguards which can make the maximum damage with the minimum efforts (Cloud, Sephirot, Cecil, Firion, Cloud of Darkness, Garland, and the Warrior of Light); the fastest Assassins, good for attack without being seen (Noctis, Lightning, Jecht, Tidus, Kuja, Zidane, and Kain); the prudent Marksmen that can hit the enemies from a very long distance (Y’Shtola, Shantotto, Ultimecia, Kefka, Terra, Golbez, The Emperor, and Ace), and the unique Specialists which can fight using their own peculiar style to defeat the opponents in a very unconventional way (Vaan, Exdeath, Bartz, the Onion Knight, and Ramza). Both using melee techniques and the powerful Summons, more powerful warriors you’ll overwhelm and more XP you’ll acquire, use them wisely to acquire even more deadly abilities, new spells, and legendary weapons.

In an interview, the producer Ichiro Hazama explained that this new battle between Materia and Spiritus “is not just a simple battle between good and evil”, like in the previous episodes, but now the story is focused on the reasons of why all of them have been called back to Dissidia world and why the new conflict is taking place between the Gods, all will be revealed through the visually magnificent cutscenes known as “Events”, each of them will be unlocked during the long, and heartwarming Story Mode.

Battle exciting 3vs3 clashes, in three dimensional stages inspired by the most famous locations we saw in the main series games, this game will give to all of us the wonderful opportunity to control in their full glory all the fantastic heroes and anti-heroes appeared in 30 years of adventures, and relive that sense of wonder we felt when we’ve seen them for the first time.
