This game is a special place for Suda51. This is his first video game under his company, Grasshopper Manufacture. Now it’s coming with The Silver Case remaster + The 25th Ward: The Silver Case and it’s called The Silver 2425.
This game takes you on a crime adventure! The setting is in contemporary Japan. There is a city called the 24 Wards. In this city, a lot of mysterious crimes and strange murders happened. The High-degree Murder Division (HMD) of the 24 Wards Police Department to scrutinize the area. However, they discover the killings lead to the well-known serial killer, Kamaui Uehara. In the newly-created 25th War district, Kamaui Uehara reappears to the missing piece in the three narratives which is Correctness, Match Maker, and Placebo.
The gameplay is a text-based point and clicks adventure visual novel game. The players control different characters in two different scenarios with different perspectives. Transmission is a scenario where you are a journalist covering a story, and Placebo is a scenario where the new investigator is trying to catch the killer.
