Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm or also known as Beyond the sky, into the firmament, is a Japanese visual novel developed by Sprite. It was originally released for Windows on November 28, 2014, then later on ported to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita Systems. 【TRAILER】

In this game’s fictitious universe, there is a so-called sport known as Flying Circus. Shoes with anti-gravity properties are made exclusively for this sport which is known as the Grav-Shoes. This magical footwear is the ultimate reason why people in this world could fly freely. The participants in this sport either race from one float to another or touch the enemy’s back to gain points.

Players follow the role of the game’s protagonist named, Masaya Hinata. Masaya is a high school student at the Kunahama Institute of South Japan. In the past, he was active in the Flying Circus sport and once had a bright future ahead of him in that field. Until one day, in a competition, Masaya failed and immediately quit due to a devastating failure.

As days passed by, Masaya meets a transfer student named Asuka Kurashima. Momentarily, Masaya suddenly appears to have fallen in love with this cheerful girl, Asuka. Masaya didn’t expect that his life will lighten up upon meeting Asuka.

One day, Asuka got curious about the Flying Circus sports and have a deep interest in giving it a try. For that reason, Masaya regains his passion in that field and trains Asuka how to fly. Despite being unfamiliar and novice with the sport, Asuka still succeeds to score a point during a race with the Vice-Captain of a powerhouse school. This has become a truly astounding achievement for Asuka which results in establishing a Flying Circus team with their other colleagues.

【FEATURES】

• The player assumes the role of Masaya Hinata at the spent on reading the story’s narrative and dialogue. The narration in the game is accompanied by character sprites that represent who Masaya is speaking to, over the background art. The player encounters as well the CG artwork at particular circumstances in the story. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm for Nintendo Switch succeeds a branching plot line with multiple endings, and depending on the decisions that the player makes during the game, the plot will progress in a specific direction
• The player will have the chance to experience four main plot with each of the heroines. Throughout the gameplay, the player is given multiple options to choose from, and text progression pauses at these points until a choice is made. Be cautious in executing every decision, it could lead the game to end prematurely, which offer an alternative ending to the plot. To further the plot in an alternate direction, the player will have to replay the game multiple times and choose different choices by viewing all the plot lines entirely
