Originally, the game was released way back in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System known as Wild Guns.  After its initial release, the game received good reviews and considered as a cult classic in terms of retrospective reviews. Due to its raging success, the game was re-released on the virtual console for the Wii and Wii U in 2010 and 2014 respectively. After 2 years, an enhanced remastered version of the game was produced for the PlayStation 4 and for Microsoft Windows in 2017.

Wild Guns Reloaded is set in a sci-fi steampunk version of the American Wild West. It is a fast-paced gallery style shooter where you can play as Annie, Clint, and the two new characters as they seek revenge against the Kid Gang who murdered Annie’s family.

The main story focuses on Annie’s revenge for her family. She seeks help from the notable space bounty hunter, Clint, to get vengeance on the Kid gang. Clint is confident to defeat the enemies all by himself. But Annie insists to join him in the battle. In addition, she even claimed that she has a personal vendetta against the Kid Gang and is an experienced shooter. The game consists of eight stages, each with three zones, and a lot of wicked robots to detonate.

The game retains the classic 16-bit style graphics for a true arcade game feel, where the original game was praised for. For sure, many of the original title’s devotees will completely go wild in this Nintendo Version of the game as it brings a lot of SNES nostalgia along with it. In addition, its challenging gameplay is another factor that will keep the fans come running back for more. And, it supports up to four players, so you can invite your friends or family to join you in one epic classic retro video game.

The President & CEO of Natsume, Hiro Maekawa is in fact beyond excited about bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch Console. And, the following is what he had to say about it:
