Quantic Dream is a French video game developer who is well known for their interactive narrative-driven stories such as Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain. Now, they are currently working on their latest project which is, Detroit: Become Human. It is an upcoming action-adventure video game set to release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on the 25th of May this year. It is expected to come out in the US, Japan, and PAL Territories. Detroit: Become Human tells the story of a group of androids coming to terms with their newfound sentience. It is not the story of one character but the story of three different characters. As the story progresses, you will notice that the game emphasizes scenes showing the different colors, different tones, and different themes of the subjects making the story even more distinct and unique.

Here in this game, you will take control of the three android characters and can lead them in their journey through making decisions along the way.
Knowing that the game comprises of three different stories, each of them has their own starting point. But in reality, all of them are intertwined and correlated. So, be very cautious about making decisions on what you are going to do with one character. It will, later on, surely build an impact on the next two characters. Hence, as the player, the responsibility to guide them on every decisions and choices they are going to make is in your own hands.
The three playable characters are named Kara, Connor, and Markus. Kara made a decision to escape the factory where she was developed in to explore her newfound sentience. While Connor is an RK800 android whose role is to track down anomalous androids. And lastly, Markus is a dedicated Android to free other androids from slavery. All of them may survive or die within your control throughout the campaign depending on the dialogue choices that molds the narrative according to your actions.
Detroit: Become Human has been a very controversial game because of it tackles heavy real-world issues such as terrorism, domestic violence, and child abuse. The growing controversy is no surprise, as its portrayal of domestic violence and child abuse was abrupt and unsettling as seen on the launch trailer. Thus, playing this game will serve as a test for you if you have the capability to handle such serious and critical world issues.
