Hello, Nintendo fans! I’m sure you’ve heard the news? Nintendo’s most recent Nintendo Direct has dropped the news has got us HYPED!! We’ve compiled a quick rundown of all the info but if you want to watch the whole thing click HERE to skip to the bottom.

3DS details

  • Wario Ware Gold 
    – The Classic mini-game collection series returns with old favorites and new quirky games!
    – Releases August 3rd, 2018
  • Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers
    – Dillon the Armordillo returns to team up with your Mii character in a post-apocalyptic vehicle-based tower defense game!
    – Available on the Nintendo eShop May 24th, 2018
    – Demo Available May 10th, 2018
  • Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey
    – NDS Classic returns
    – Mario & Luigi are in search of a cure for the mushroom kingdom but have been sucked inside bowser?
    – Now the brothers have to control Bowser from the inside in order to complete their quest
    – Meanwhile, we see what Bowser Jr’s was doing behind the scenes
    – Releases 2019
  • Detective Pikachu + New amiibo Figure
    – Uncover the mystery of why Pokemon in this peaceful town have started acting up alongside a gruff-talking Pikachu.
    – Available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop now!
    – Releases March 23rd, 2018
    – The special Large Detective Pikachu amiibo also releases on the same date!
  • Luigi’s Mansion
    – A Gamecube classic returns!
    – Experience one of Luigi’s major solo adventures when this ghost-busting adventure comes to the 3DS!
    – New Boss mode added
    – Releases in 2018

Nintendo Switch Details

  • Kirby Star Allies
    – King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee will be joining Kirby’s new adventure!
    – More of his friends from past games will be joining at later dates.
    – Expect to see Rick, Kine, Coo, Marx, and Gooey arrive free updates after launch.
    – The first Free Update comes out March 16th, 2018 followed by another on March 28th, 2018.
    – Demo now available!
  • Okami HD
    – This acclaimed classic will be getting an HD remaster for the Switch.
    – Touchscreen and Joy-con controls will be available to perform brush strokes.
    – Available on the Nintendo eShop in Summer 2018
  • Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido
    – You live in a world were Sushi has been outlawed, now fight back in this over-the-top puzzle battle game!
    – Available on June 8th, 2018 for both Nintendo 3DS & Switch
  • Octopath Traveller
    – Two new characters have been revealed, Tressa the Merchant and Alfyn the Apothecary
    – As you level up, you’ll be able to combine skills from different classes for more options in battle
    – A special edition set will also be available and it comes with a pop-up book with details of the eight protagonists, a map, soundtrack, and a replica coin of the game’s currency.
    – The game releases July 13th, 2018
  • Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
    – The Otaku assassin returns again, only to get sucked into a cursed game console!
    – Travis battles his way through various game types as he eliminates every game bug in his path!
    – Like past games, the bosses he’ll encounter are some of the coolest characters you’ll ever fight in a game.
    –  Release planned for 2018.
  • Dark Souls: Remastered
    – You’ll now be able to experience the grim and oppressive world of Dark Souls on the go!
    – A Network Test will be coming soon, so you’ll be able to try out the game, more details coming soon.
    – Praise the Sun any time with the new Solarie of Astora amiibo.
    – Releases May 25th, 2018
  • Mario Tennis Aces
    – 15+ characters will be available, including a CHAIN CHOMP!
    – New tennis mechanics available to bring your game to the next level including Zone shots, Trick Shots & the powerful Special Shot!
    – If you’d prefer, basic tennis mechanics are an option.
    – Playable with up to 4 players and you can even use the Joy-con like a tennis racket.
    – Online Tournaments with a Pre-Launch tourney coming soon.
  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
    – Captain Toad returns to explore box garden puzzles
    – 2-player mode available
    – Available July 2018 for both Nintendo 3DS & Switch
  • Undertale
    – Coming….eventually
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
    – Crash’s first three adventures will be making their way to a Nintendo console for the first time.
    – Available July 10th, 2018
  • Little Nightmares: Complete Edition
    – The creepy puzzle platformer complete with DLC will be hopping on the Switch.
    – An exclusive mask available when using the Pac Man amiibo!
    – Available May 18th, 2018
  • South Park: The Fractured but Whole
    – From the creators of South Park comes the outrageously offensive adventure!
    – Season Pass and DLC packs 1 & 2 will be available at launch.
    – DLC pack 3 available in later 2018.
    – Releases April 24th, 2018.
  • Hyrule Warriors: Definite Edition
    – Release date finally announced: May 18th, 2018
  • ARMS
    – US & Canadian Open will be held from March 8th to 18th.
    – Winner will receive a special piece of ARMS artwork.
    – Another Test Punch will be up on March 31st, 2018. This is another great opportunity to try the game if you haven’t yet.
  • Splatoon 2
    – Big updates coming with Version 3.0
    – New Gear and Stages to be added.
    – New Rank: Rank X
    – Callie Returns!
    – Update coming in Late April
    – An expansion pack featuring an Octoling has been announced.
    – This brand new single-player adventure dives deeper into the stories of Splatoons characters
    – Complete it and you’ll be able to play online as an Octoling!
    – Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion releases in Summer 2018 for $19.99
