Cafe Cuillere was first released on Android and iOS last 2015. Now, this game is coming to PSVita. Here’s the official announcement from @CafeCui_Staff, the official twitter account of Cafe Cuillere.

This game falls under the otome genre. Some of you are confused with the word otome. Well, here’s the definition below.

An otome game (乙女ゲーム otome gēmu, literally “maiden game”) is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main plot goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male or female characters. This genre is most established in Japan, and is mostly made up of visual novelsand simulation games; particularly dating sims and life simulation games. – via Wikipedia

This game mostly targets female/women game geeks. Especially this is a dating sim and life simulation game.

Everyone has a crush or first love in our childhood years, right? What if your childhood friends and their brother come back from a faraway land to achieve their dreams. However, this might break your heart. Here’s the plot of the game below.

Fujishiro Mao is a second year high school student who loves sweets and wants to be a Patisserie Chef. One day, she heard from her childhood friends Sakuma twins that their brother Itsuki (her first love crush) is returning to Japan from France. Itsuki whom is now a Patisserie Chef plans to open a cafe and Mao later finds out that Itsuki have a girlfriend whilst in France. Extremely heart broken, Mao was going to throw away her years of Sweets tasting notes that was intended to be given to Itsuki, but was stopped by her classmate Keita whom she lend the notes to. Keita comforted and encouraged Mao to continue to pursue her dream and that she should give the notes to Itsuki which later that night she did. The next morning she ran into Itsuki’s friend Kyouhei who saw her notes and suggest she should start working at Cafe Cuillere and lif possible bring in a few classmates due to lack of staffs. Slightly discomfort with the situation Mao asked Keita to join her with the part time. Turns out the Sakuma twins and Ryousuke will also be working there too! – via VNDB
