From the hit video game Life is Strange, Developer Dontnod Entertainment comes with another story-driven action game, Vampyr. Developer Dontnod tied up with publisher Focus Home Interactive and aims for a June 5, 2018 release. It will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the US and PAL Territories. Originally, the game was set for a November 2017 release. However, due to some technical issues, the developer said in a press release that they needed to have some extra time to work on the game. This may be a bad news for some, but actually, it is also one evidence that the team will have enough time to fully work on the game. And this is what Oskar Guilbert, chief executive of the studio, has to say about them delaying the game.
Delaying the release of a project you hold dear is always a tough decision. However, we believe that meeting a deadline should never compromise quality. We were still convinced just a few weeks ago that we would be able to release Vampyr this year. Unfortunately, a technical issue–now solved–has set our teams’ schedule back at the end of the development. This delay allows us enough time for all the polishing and balancing phase, much needed for a game of Vampyr’s scope, with its ambitious, semi-open world, its complex narrative and deep RPG mechanics that give players a real impact on the world.
So, Vampyr is more than ready to come out in Spring 2018. The question now is, are you ready for it?

Blood spattered everywhere, darkness and extreme violence engulfed the whole town of London in the year 1918. Follow the role of Dr. Jonathan Reid who is a surgeon and a man of science renowned for his devotion to saving lives during the Spanish Flu epidemic. After World War I, Dr. Jonathan flew back to his homeland, London.
However, when he returns home, a stranger transformed him into a horrifying creature of the night, a vampire. With this cursed vampirism, he must set forth on a hell-like journey in order to find his humanity. It is only about two things, save the city or impel its ruins.
Primarily, Vampyr sees the struggle of Dr. Jonathan’s conflict between his biological bloodlust and the Hippocratic Oath he vowed at the start of his career.
So, here in this game, you can choose to kill everyone you encounter to strengthen yourself or go through the entire game without feeding on anyone.
