What is Photo Mode All About?

Photo mode’s aim is to let the players enjoy the artwork of the game. This includes the environment artwork plus, of course, the characters artwork and to see them up-close and personal.

The artwork and design of everything that it’s in the game are so precise and refined in a way that players should really see it in a much detailed manner. And that is where Photo Mode comes in.

So here in Photo Mode, it allows the players to modify the depth-of-field, adjust camera angles, and adding up of filters. The team also shared that there will be plenty of color filters, effects, overlays, and borders available to play with.

Hold your horses too as we’re to reveal one of the most exciting features in the Photo Mode that everyone is itching to play with. It is the Photo Mode allows you to manipulate Kratos and Atreus facial expressions. Bet you’re all excited for this one! Sure you do.

However, God of War’s photo mode is not available yet. Plus, there’s no official announcement yet from the Studio when they will be releasing it. And here’s one thing that Director Cory Barlog had to say about not focusing on the game’s photo mode at first hand.

It was definitely something we were really interested in doing, but I was prioritizing — along with Jeet — prioritizing the stability and, sort of, the fun of the game. So it became one of those things: We just kept kind of kicking that can down a little bit further, because we wanted every last second to make the game as good as it could be.

So, while we are waiting for the launch of this undeniably fun content of the game, you can just take a look at the below screenshots of the games’ photo mode from the Sony live stream. Enjoy Kratos’ and Atreus’ hilarious facial expressions here!
