The game developer Arc System Works will launch an open beta for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle on May 9 in North America only. Take note it is only accessible for those who pre-ordered the game digitally. Of course, gamers still need to wait for May 12 as it will launch for everyone! Moreover, Arc System Works also will launch an offline demo once the open beta ends.

■ Offline Demo
After the open beta ends, an offline demo will become available to all PlayStation 4 owners for download. Digital PlayStation Store pre orders will be granted access to both the full 20 character beta roster, as well as access to the two-player VS Mode. Non pre-order demos will include four characters, one from each universes represented in the game, and VS Mode against the CPU.
