Pokémon GO fans will definitely go out more playing this mobile game. With the recent announcement of Niantic, they can expect something novel once they look for Pokémon within their area. After all, monsters from different generations have already been added in Pokémon go. It has been revealed that Alolan variants of Kanto-region Pokémon are coming to Pokemon GO. How cool is that?

By the looks of their Twitter announcement, we can pretty much guess which among of the these Alolan Pokemon will be included. Some of these include Rattata, Raichu, Exeggutor, Vulpix, Meowth, Diglett, and more.

Some might ask, “what are the Alolan Pokemon?” Don’t worry, we have the definition ready for your convenience.

Alola (Japanese: アローラ地方 Alola-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world. It is the setting of Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. The Alola region is made of up four natural islands and one artificial island.

In addition, it was also confirmed that an Alolan Exeggutor is also available “all over the world, where it will appear more often for a limited time.”

Pokémon Quest

A new “quest” is about to begin both for Nintendo Switch and mobile phone version (Google Play and iOS). And this could be the cutest quest that you can ever come across with this 2018. Get ready for a new adventure with Pokémon Quest!

Nintendo Switch owners get the privilege of playing the game first. The game was released last May 30, 2018. On the other hand, Pokémon Quest mobile version will be released late this June 2018.

By the looks of it, you might be close to comparing that it has a Minecraft-vibe in it. After all, it really does. According to Game Freak, the game’s developer, players will be “hunting for treasure, battling with wild Pokémon, discovering unexplored territories, and even cooking tasty treats to tempt new Pokémon to join your party.”

 


Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

The Pokémon Company and Game Freak really know how to give a surprise to their fans. After a few months of speculations, these two finally spilled the great news that Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will be the two new installments in the Pokémon series.

The two games revealed that the players will be taken back to the first-generation region of Kanto. More so, it is also a breath of fresh air to see that Pokémon GO features are incorporated in the said games. And since it will be released on Nintendo Switch, expect a lot of use of your Joy-Con’s motion functionality. Especially in imitating to throw a Pokeball at Pokémon.

New Title Coming In 2019

Pokemon is defintely taking over 2018 with its Alolan Pokémon, Pokémon Quest, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! But it is not yet over arousing so much excitement from Pokémon fans all over the world. Just check the tweet of the offical twitter of Pokemon and find out what we’re talking about.

 

Vague but poignant. That’s all we can say. If you really are a true-blue fan of Pokémon, this announcement will definitely arouse your curiosity so much.

A Pokémon RPG title? We can only hope for the best. This could probably be spin-off titles. Just like what they did with Pokémon Red and Blue.

But one of the most obvious thing that fans will notice would be the non-specification of where these upcoming games will be released on. For the meantime, we can only hope for the best on what the upcoming announcements will be. Or perhaps a Gen 8 RPG is something that we can expect by 2019.
