• EA confirmed via big gaming websites that Anthem will release early in 2019 and not Fall of 2018. (UPDATE: It will be released on February 22, 2019)
• Anthem will not repeat the same mistakes incurred by Mass Effect Andromeda.
• Anthem “will feel very distinctly BioWare” and “science-fantasy” according to Bioware GM.

As E3 2018 is coming to its opening date, expectations are quite high for big titles that are confirmed to take part this year. And Anthem is not an exception. After all, it is BioWare’s next project to date. And if you’re a true-blue gamer and fan of BioWare, you’re aware that this studio is the name behind some of the iconic RPGs that we came to know. It includes Baldur’s Gate, Mass Effect, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Learning From A Mistake

In an interview with USGamer.net, Casey Hudson, Head of Bioware, reiterated Anthem “will feel very distinctly BioWare.” He added:

We need to delight players with new experiences and innovation, but we must stay focused on the importance of the world, character, and storytelling elements that players expect from our games. And our games must be designed to continue delivering new stories and experiences, in an ongoing relationship with players in the worlds we’re evolving together.

It will be unlike anything you’ve played. But if we do it right, it will feel very distinctly BioWare.

In Anthem, up to four friends can unravel the world’s mysteries and take on its most fearsome challenges together. Shared danger means shared glory, and successful Freelancers will all be richly rewarded for successful exploits.
