20 years after the events in Diablo II, Deckard Cain and his beloved niece, Leah, are in the Tristram Cathedral somewhere in Sanctuary. They are investigating for the ancient texts regarding an impending prophecy. However, a mysterious star falling from the sky hits the Cathedral. As the star strikes the Cathedral, Deckard Cain disappears.
The protagonist arrives at the cathedral to investigate the falling star. He takes on Leah’s request to save her uncle. But the protagonist discovers something big. The fallen star is a person. He learns that the only way to defeat King Leoric is from the fallen star.
This Eternal Collection includes Diablo III, Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer. For an overview, Reaper of Souls is an expansion to the story as it takes place in Westmarch and Pandemonium. Meanwhile, Rise of the Necromancer is a DLC to the game that gives you a role to play a necromancer.

Diablo III
