Sonic Mania Plus is the definitive retail enhanced version of the original Sonic Mania. The graphics boast pixel-perfect HD visuals. Of course, fresh gameplay will be introduced to the players. The original Sonic Mania received critical acclaim from both fan and critics alike. Now you can see why Sonic is still famous around the world even up to this day.
The game follows Sonic and his comrades, Tails and Knuckles, as they venture to vanquish their nemesis, Doctor Eggman, and his lackeys, the Hard-Boiled Heavies. Apart from this, this game features new Encore Mode. This mode offers new ways to navigate the game world with some undefined illustration variations, and the Competition Mode has been enhanced as well.
Also, after nearly 25 years, Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Flying Squirrel make their return as new playable charactes. The duo first appeared and only appearance (cameo aside) was in 1993’s SegaSonic the Hedgehog.
