Two of the best games in Sony’s first console were Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot, and if you can still remember, Activision remastered the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy last year. The remastered version of the game was a massive success. So now, it is time for Spyro the Dragon to hit that top spot with Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Spyro the Dragon is one of Sony’s historic flagship franchises, and now, the purple dragon is ready for his return in the modern-gaming.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a collection of remastered versions of the first three games in the Spyro series: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Developer Toys for Bob is already working on this remaster and aiming to bring this to the PS4 and Xbox One on November 13, 2018.

【TRAILER】
Stephan Vankov of Toys for Bob worked on the music for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but originally, Steward Copeland was the composer of the game’s music. According to Vankov, it was really important for them to get in touch with Copeland early on in the process, firstly because Steward was the original composer and for the need to carry the right feel and tone for the production, for the best possible outcome.
Fortunately, Copeland gave consent and approved Vankov and his team’s work. Plus Copeland also wrote a new composition for the upcoming Trilogy. Copeland’s new composition serves as the opening theme music for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and this will be titled, Tiger Train.

- Spyro Year of the Dragon – The Dragon Realms are celebrating the ‘Year of the Dragon’ when a mysterious cloaked figure emerges to steal all the Dragon Eggs. Under the spell of the evil Sorceress, an army of Rhynocs is now guarding the helpless eggs in the Forgotten Realms. With new and old friends, Spyro is on a quest to recover the lost eggs, defeat the Rhynoc army and stop the evil Sorceress. Turn up the heat in this adventure by exploring the mysterious realms and completing outrageous challenges, such as pulling off sick tricks on a skateboard and stepping into a boxing ring.
