See Ryo Hazuki in Action Here in “What is Shenmue?” Part 3 Trailer
Shenmue I & II
PS4™ & XONE™ – US, EU, AU, JAPAN & ASIA
We’re so close to rediscovering the grandeur of the Shenmue legacy with Sega’s most-awaited collection of Shenmue I & II. And to stir up everybody’s excitement, Sega released the third part of “What is Shenmue” series of trailers.
Hosted once again by the English voice actor of Ryo Hazuki, Corey Marshall, let’s all explore the basics of the Shenmue Saga. This new trailer focuses on the game’s combat system and mini-games.
The video first breaks down how the battle system of the game works. It takes a cue from the Virtua Fighter games and eventually permits you to develop your fighting style with various of snazzy new moves.
But that’s not all. You won’t be engaged to the combat mode all throughout the game. You also have to get out of your Jiu-Jitsu personality once in a while and have some fun! Enjoy and explore the world of Shenmue with its mini-games. These include slot machines, darts, pools, and as well as classic arcade games like Space Harrier and Hang-On.
And, of course, get yourself also involved in forklift racing if outside activities are more of your thing.
Check out the new trailer below.
【PART 3 TRAILER】
Ryo Hazuki is a Jiu Jitsu master-in-training, spending his spare time busting up the bad guys or sparring with his friends. In Shenmue I & II, you’ll use and unlock real Jiu Jitsu moves that you can level up throughout and transfer between both games – which will come in useful as the enemies become tougher throughout the saga. Beyond stunning Jiu Jitsu moves, you will need great reflexes to progress through Ryo’s quest of retribution. Players will be able to experience first-hand the very first Quick Time Events, which Shenmue introduced to the gaming world.
But it’s not all about street fights and martial arts practice for Ryo – he must unwind as well. Shenmue’s arcades have fully working versions of all-time classic games, so you can try your hand at Space Harrier – and if outside activities are more your thing, enter a forklift (or duck) race.
Are you guys as excited as they are?
