Using hi-tech gadgets and piloting the 60 meters tall mecha Leopardon, he’s the last hope for the survival of the humankind.
Another special Spider-Man can be found in India. The young boy Pavitr Prabhakar move from his small village to Mumbai. In there he lives with uncle Bhim and aunt Maya, unfortunately, at school, he’s daily chased by bullies. But thanks to a fortuitous encounter with an old yogi; Pavitr acquires the powers of a spider, in order to fight all the evil that threatens the world.

Even if it’s only a fictional character, during his long careers this beloved “wall-crawler” became a sort of social crusader that tried to solve a big number of real problems of the modern society. Drug abuse, poverty, school drop-out, and many other ones. We can refer to him as an “existentialist” hero; indeed both Peter Parker and Spider-Man are often portrayed as idealist characters that every day face the ugliness and absurdity of the reality. Due his psychological complexity and richness is easy to understand why he’s one of the most beloved superheroes of all time!
