Gaming in our generation has finally taken a sudden turn not just focusing much more on PC and consoles alone. And that’s what Tokyo Game Show has proven this year. About 30% of the titles are actually destined for Android and iOS. This trend is nothing but of a surprise. It was kind of expected with the location where the game show took place: Tokyo.

Mobile games have become bigger and bigger and bigger. Japan is way ahead of the curve on mobile games compared to the West.

Dead or Alive 6

PlayStation 4™ & Xbox One™ – US, EU, JAPAN & ASIA

One of Koei Tecmo‘s video game series, Dead or Alive, will conquer the fighting video game genre soon. Team Ninja‘s Dead or Alive 6 is fast approaching that Koei Tecmo has released newest screenshots and details on the recently confirmed playable characters in Dead or Alive 6 and about the Lost Paradise stage in Tokyo Game Show 2018.

In this update, we have the detailed glimpse at Ayane, Marie Rose, Honoka, and Bayman along with the new Lost Paradise stage.

Get the full detail from each character and new stage from Koei Tecmo below.

Ayane

Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 6, PS4, XONE, US, Europe, Japan, Asia, gameplay, features, release date, price, trailer, screenshots, updates, TGS, TGS 2018, Tokyo Game Show, Tokyo Game Show 2018, Koei Temco, Team Ninja

The first fighter returning to the fray is Ayane. Ordered to hunt down her half-sister, Kasumi, Ayane’s Mugen Tenshin Hajinmon style of Ninjutsu is as fierce as it gets. Dubbed “The Killer Kunoichi,” Ayane’s ever-changing moves are polished to the point that her opponents have a hard time seeing what is coming next. Forced to live in the shadows, she attempts to fight through her conflicted feelings toward her half-sister, while also fighting her way to the top of the tournament.

Marie Rose

Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 6, PS4, XONE, US, Europe, Japan, Asia, gameplay, features, release date, price, trailer, screenshots, updates, TGS, TGS 2018, Tokyo Game Show, Tokyo Game Show 2018, Koei Temco, Team Ninja

The second combatant marking her return is Swedish martial artist, Marie Rose. Marie, known as “The Wicked Lil’ Servant,” boasts a Russian military style emphasizing constant fluidity of movement, enabling the fighter to utilize her small frame to her advantage, outmaneuvering enemies with a variety of tricky moves while turning her opponent’s attacks against them.

Honoka

Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 6, PS4, XONE, US, Europe, Japan, Asia, gameplay, features, release date, price, trailer, screenshots, updates, TGS, TGS 2018, Tokyo Game Show, Tokyo Game Show 2018, Koei Temco, Team Ninja

Next up is the “Super-Secret Fighter Chick” known as Honoka. This 18-year-old fan of professional wrestling and martial arts movies invented her own fighting style known as Honoka Fu; an art where she combines her favorite moves from fighters she has observed. While in her Hissatsu-no-Kamae stance, she is imbued with unbelievable strength, making her capable of delivering attacks the likes even she has never seen before as her right hand emits a mysterious glow.

Bayman

Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 6, PS4, XONE, US, Europe, Japan, Asia, gameplay, features, release date, price, trailer, screenshots, updates, TGS, TGS 2018, Tokyo Game Show, Tokyo Game Show 2018, Koei Temco, Team Ninja

The final fighter re-entering the arena is former professional assassin, Bayman. Known as “The Man Who Overcame Death,” Bayman stands inside the ring with the same kind of cold-hearted professionalism that made him such a successful mercenary thanks to his devastatingly-dangerous skills in Combat Sambo.

Stages: Lost Paradise

Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 6, PS4, XONE, US, Europe, Japan, Asia, gameplay, features, release date, price, trailer, screenshots, updates, TGS, TGS 2018, Tokyo Game Show, Tokyo Game Show 2018, Koei Temco, Team Ninja

Also making its debut in Tokyo will be the new stage entitled “Lost Paradise.” The magnificent jungle is mixed with the decaying remains of man-made constructions, with some surprising secrets popping out of all corners. Collide with the extremely large eggs and you will not only disturb whatever’s inside, but also alert their mother – a giant Pteranodon who will swoop in for the attack. But that’s not the only danger lurking, as the fence separating the fighters from the jungle is sparked with electricity. Fall to the bottom level and a Tyrannosaurus awaits, ready to rip into anyone within biting distance.

Koei Tecmo also has released a new set of screenshots for Dead or Alive 6. See these awesome screenshots below.

Days Gone

PlayStation 4™ – US, EU & ASIA

The upcoming zombie biker adventure game Days Gone from developer SIE Bend Studio showed off a new demo for the game during the Tokyo Game Show 2018. It is a lengthy video that runs for about 15 minutes featuring the protagonist, Deacon, surviving the post-apocalyptic open-world of the game.

The Creative Director of the game, John Garvin, took over the explanation of the game, while Game Director Jeff Ross controls the game.

You can check out the new trailer and gameplay video below.

【TGS 2018 GAMEPLAY & TRAILER】

Days Gone was originally announced at the 2016’s E3. And it has been confirmed that this game has been in development by SIE Bend Studio since 2015. Finally, last June, before the E3 2018 kicks off, the developer announced the official release date for the game. So, PS4 players, if you have missed it, the release date for this game is on February 22, 2019. Don’t forget to mark those dates as your survival zombie adventure begins on that day!

Game Overview

This game will take you to the open world of Pacific Northwest. It is an action-adventure/survival horror game that puts you in the shoes of a man named Deacon St. John. Deacon is a mercenary and motorcycle club officer. The game takes place two years after a global pandemic transpired which killed almost all of humanity.

And what’s even more disturbing is that millions of others were turned into “Freakers.” Freakers are mindless zombie-like creatures and animals that are rapidly emerging. They have become violent creatures that are seen in every corner of the Pacific Northwest.

And now that Deacon is trapped in this deadly situation, he must fight for his survival amid a zombie pandemic. And it will be very tough for him as the zombie-like humans tend to travel in fast-moving hordes just like the zombies in World War Z.

Furthermore, Sony is pitching that Days Gone is a narrative-driven game, with a heavy emphasis on the “golden path” rather than a load of side quests that are seen on other open-world games. Well, based on this and the new gameplay trailer from the TGS 2018, Days Gone is not your average everyday zombie game.

Dreams, Dreams Universe, PlayStation 4, Japan, release date, price, gameplay, features, update, Tokyo Game Show 2018, TGS 2018, Media Molecule, new trailer

Dreams Universe

PlayStation 4™ – Japan

Japanese gamers, have you ever thought of possessing a power to magically turn anything in your imagination to reality? If you have, get ready for your most-awaited dreamy and cloudy adventure in the world of Dreams Universe!

Developer Media Molecule confirmed that their upcoming adventure game, Dreams, is also heading to Japan. The developer announced that the Japanese version of the game will be titled as “Dreams Universe.”

You can check out the Japanese trailer below for Dreams Universe.

【TRAILER】

Hop into your seats, turn that PS4 consoles on, and be ready to escape into the imagination of your mind. Take the journey to launch into a fantastic, magical, seamless and open-ended space of creativity and endless possibilities in Dreams Universe.

Dreams Universe, or also known as Dreams in the west, appears to build on its developer ideology of the “play, create, share” of its previous work, LittleBigPlanet series, that lets you build your own levels. However, Dreams Universe’s objective is much bigger. Instead of linking altogether the crafty levels you made, it allows you to freely create anything you can imagine using the in-game tools. Remember, here in dreams, if you can imagine it, you can create it. Are you already picturing it all out how fun is it going to be by just reading that line?

Yes, you can build anything you want. May it be a city full of bright colors, a dehydrated desert, a skeleton T-Rex brought to life or a universe with cat faces planets. You can build impossible bizarre creations like a small 3D painting of a vase filled with blooming flowers or as huge as an entire adventure game with its own set of cast, soundtrack, and dialogue. The best part is that the game also enables you to upload everything you created for other people to play, or to utilize it in their own Dreams productions.

The game will have three twisted stories but will focus on a man named Art, together with the people in his dreams known as Francis and Foxy. These two are the playable characters in this game each possessing different qualities. You can play in their dreams and explore as much as you can.

As of the moment, there’s still no official release date for the game. But the Japanese version of the game is already here on our website, however, it is still not open for pre-orders. So, stay tuned!

Even though Kojima Productions released a new trailer for Death Stranding, we still don’t know what’s really going on with this game. Why is the gigantic creature in the trailer so angry? Where do those beasts come from? What genre is Death Stranding?

A lot of things is still unknown for this. All we know is that Hideo Kojima promised to develop a PS4 exclusive game into a compelling franchise. And that is more likely to be Death Stranding.

I will be taking on a new challenge by establishing my own independent studio, and I am thrilled to be able to embark on this journey with PlayStation, who I have continued to work with all these past years,” he said back in December 2015. “I cannot wait to deliver, with PlayStation, a game that will become a compelling franchise.
