Bigmoon Entertainment has tied up with Deep Silver as well as with ASO (Amaury Sport Organisation) and real-world competitors to bring the most authentic racing game ever made. Bigmoon Entertainment leads the development of the game while Deep Silver acquired the game’s publishing rights.

Dakar 18 is based on the most prestigious annual Dakar Rally by Amaury Sport Organisation, which features drivers of various vehicle types racing for sovereignty across a vast and treacherous course.

Dakar 18 the official game will be available on September 25th for PS4 and Xbox One consoles in North America. Oh, and that date is today, folks! Are you ready to experience the most arduous and demanding rally in history?

【TRAILERS】

The racing game was previously announced for a September 11 release date, but Deep Silver and Bigmoon had to push back the date to September 25 for US and September 28 across Europe.

The developer aims Dakar 18 to be the most authentic and challenging off-road simulation, where your goal is more about survival aside from being the fastest.

All fourteen stages from the 2018 Dakar Rally will be featured in this game. Players will navigate the said stages using the revamped road books used by real-world Dakar Rally teams.

Furthermore, real drivers and vehicles will be featured in the game, as well as a vast open world of South America. Players will have to choose among the vehicles which are divided into five categories: bikes, ATVs, cars, trucks, and SxS (utility vehicles).

Moreover, the game’s time of day and weather are also simulated and changes during a race to present a constantly growing challenge as you take the sand, mud, and water.

Also, players will have the option to step out on their vehicle and explore the vast open world of the game by foot. Dakar 18 will feature both offline and online-single player and multiplayer modes.
