After a couple of delays, NIS America finally announced the confirmed release date for the upcoming PC port of Disgaea 5 Complete via a press release which can be found at the News section of the Steam page. Disgaea 5 Complete fans can now expect the game to arrive on your computers on the 22nd of this month.

Furthermore, NISA lowered the original price of the game from USD$49.99 to USD$39.99. Now, pre-purchasers can get the game for only USD$29.99. While the Digital Dood Edition of the game, which includes the base game and art book, will be priced at USD$42.73, or USD32.75 for pre-purchasers.

And if you’ve missed it, those who pre-ordered the game back in May will automatically receive the art book which is exclusive for the Digital Dood Edition of the game, for free. Those who pre-ordered the game from June onwards will have to purchase the Digital Dood Edition to get the art book.

The game was originally scheduled to release on PC via Steam on May then got delayed until summer 2018 and now to October 22. Well, we all hope that this would be the final launch date for the game.

Disgaea 5 Complete will feature all eight bonus scenarios and four “fan-favorite: characters. In addition, there will be three new characters that will be included in the game which was originally released as DLC in the PS4 version of the game, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, by NISA.

On the other hand, for those who own Disgaea 2 PC will also receive four new weapons. Furthermore, the game will feature English and Japanese audio, as well as English and French subs.

NIS originally released Disgaea 5 Complete for PlayStation 4 console systems in Japan on March 2015. After five short months, the game was then localized in North America as well. Due to the game’s success, a Nintendo Switch port was published in Japan and later on in the West in both digital and physical copies.
