Insomiac Games Detailed Spider-Man: The Heist DLC | Due Out Next Week

Two months ago, Insomniac Games Community Director, James Stevenson, revealed the full schedule for Marvel’s Spider-Man post-launch DLC, which is known as The City That Never Sleeps. It is an episodic DLC which consists of three entries, with the first chapter dubbed as “The Heist.” And last month, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games released the teaser for the first chapter of the episodic DLC, which is slated for release next week, October 23.
And now, Insomniac Games Community Director, James Stevenson, shared more information about Marvel’s Spider-Man first chapter in The City That Never Sleeps DLC, The Heist, via a blog post in PlayStation blog.
Spider-Man: The Heist Details
First off is the new artwork for the game.

According to the Insomniac Games Community Director, they have worked closely with Marvel artists to bring this new art for Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist to life. Also, according to the director, this illustration “comes from famed Marvel illustrator and suit designer Adi Granov.”
The director added:
As you play Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, you’ll encounter the beginning of a new, interconnected story taking place over the three chapters of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. A robbery at an art museum entangles Spider-Man and MJ with an old flame from Peter Parker’s past, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat.

Also, aside from the new story missions, Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist will include a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and of course, the most awaited three brand new suits for our boy, Spidey.
And of course, the company shared the newest addition in Spidey’s wardrobe (If he has one), the three brand new suits!
One we’d love to highlight is the Resilient Suit, by famed Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto. We loved bringing original suits to the game, starting with our Advanced Suit, and continuing with Adi Granov’s Velocity Suit, and this is another great one.
Furthermore, the director added that there will also be 2 more suits that fans of the comics will recognize, Spider-Man’s suit from Scarlet Spider II, and the Spider-UK suit from the Spider-Verse.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist can be purchased separately for $9.99, and is also part of the $24.99 worth “The City That Never Sleeps” downloadable content series, which includes two more chapters coming out later this year.

In addition to the DLC news for the game, Sony Interactive Entertainment also announced that the game’s version 1.07 update will be available soon. Originally, the company announced that the update will be available today, October 17. However, the news about version 1.07 has been removed from the PlayStation blog post.
On Twitter, Insomniac Games confirmed that the update will not be available today and said that the update is “coming soon” instead.
