Activision‘s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 sales is unstoppable. Recently, the company announced that the game hits a ground-breaking, biggest launch day digital sales in Activision’s history. Plus, the game also did sell well in Japan. As a matter of fact, it was reported that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the only Call of Duty game that has the best debut in Japan compared to the other previous titles in the past few years.

And now, another mind-blowing report was announced by Activision. The company is beyond proud to announce that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 earned more than half a billion dollars worldwide sales on its first three days of release. This $500 million figure includes the sales for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 retail and digital unit sales, as well as Season Pass sales.

The latest installment in the Call of Duty series also set a new franchise record for most combined players, average hours per player, and the total number of hours played on current generation consoles in the first three short days of its launch.

Furthermore, the total number of players during those three days also exceeded both Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Black Ops III for the same period of time.

Plus, Black Ops 4’s opening launch weekend got the most viewed on Twitch in franchise history for the first three days.

“Black Ops IIII is off to a blockbuster start. Our player counts and hours played are up year over year, our viewership on Twitch has set new standards and is showing just how fun Blackout is to play and to watch, and the weekend results yet again put Call of Duty at that highest tier of entertainment. Our digital sales results have been record-breaking across all platforms, and the overall performance strong. We’re really excited about Black Ops IIII’s momentum. There’s much more to come, we’re just getting started.”

Zombies are back in the Call of Duty franchise and they’re terrifying as hell. Are you ready?!

Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (styled as Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII) is the latest entry in the Black Ops subseries and the 15th main installment in the Call of Duty overall franchise.

For the first time in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII won’t be having the series’ traditional single-player campaign mode. Instead, the upcoming game will feature the traditional multiplayer modes, various Zombie modes, and a Battle Royal mode as will called Blackout.

But, the game will also be having its Solo Missions mode, which centers on the game’s characters backstories, which will be called, “Specialists.”

Moreover, another first in the series is about its multiplayer mode not having an automatic health regeneration. Instead, the game will introduce players to both predictive recoil and a new ballistics system.

In addition, the battle royale mode of the game called Blackout will feature up to 100 players in each match. Also, players can use the various characters from this upcoming game and other Black Ops title as the player’s character model in this mode.
