Well, well, well Nintendo fans out there. it’s the time of the month again when Nintendo has presented its November’s Nintendo Direct. This is the last confirmed pre-release showcase for the upcoming crossover fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the upcoming crossover fighting game published and developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. This is also the fifth installment on the Super Smash Bros. In this upcoming game, it features every playable character from the previous Super Smash Bros. titles which ranges from Nintendo’s notable characters to the third-party franchises.

In the latest Nintendo Direct, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has revealed a ton of new information. During the Direct, Nintendo has announced the final two fighters to join the fray at launch. They are Ken and Incineroar. With them joining the fight, it finalizes the game’s starting roster with 74 playable characters.

Of course, there is a Story Mode for this crossover fighting game which is entitled “World of Light.” In this story mode, a mysterious bean of lights suddenly surfaces to capture characters and imprisons them in an alternate universe where evil clones of the Nintendo characters are being produced. Nintendo also has released the trailer for the World of Light. In the trailer, the lonesome hero, the cute little fluff ball, Kirby has to help to recover the 73 fighters against their evil clones which Kirby gives a huge role.

Along with the Story Mode, there’s also a new addition to the Super Smash Bros. franchise which is the Spirits Mode. In this mode, it allows the player to provide different and unique Spirits to enhance their chosen Nintendo character. Each Nintendo character can use one Primary Spirit in order to increase specific statistics. The Spirits has four rarities: Novice, Advanced, Aces, and Legend. Earn Spirits by battling in this mode.

There are some post-launch downloadable content characters to be available starting from 2019 to 2020. The first DLC character is Piranha Plant who will be free to download months after the game launch. After that, there are bundles to be sold with one fighter, one new stage and music tracks for $5.99. There is also a special Smash Pass that will cost for $24.99. With this pass, players can get five characters. Let’s wait for the announcements for the DLC of this game in the near future.
