Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Post-Launch DLC Characters All Locked In

Nintendo‘s most awaited crossover fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is nearly coming. And to get the hype train going, game director and series creator, Masahiro Sakurai, announced on Twitter that the list of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s post-launch DLC characters have now been finalized.
The director added that Nintendo was entirely responsible for the production of the DLC roster and discussed how the process worked by saying he’d decide if it’s possible to create a fighter based on Nintendo’s character selections.

Shortly, after the initial tweet, Sakurai tweeted again, requesting players to stay on the topic when replying to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate developers’ messages and tweets. The game director is deeply asking everyone to avoid flooding them with character requests.
It’s great to dream about your favorite character joining the battle and I appreciate your passion, but please try to stay on topic when replying to tweets and refrain from flooding us, and other users, with requests when we're not specifically asking for feedback. Thank you!

This tweet indicates that the decisions have been locked in and further suggestions for DLC characters won’t change anything. But, that doesn’t mean the characters people have been suggesting won’t have a chance to appear in the game.
Well, let’s just wait and see what lies ahead for this big game in the next coming months.
