Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet

Nintendo Switch & PS4

What is up, DOA fans?! A new fresh take on DOA game is about to arrive next year for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 console. The new game will be titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet which was announced by Koei Tecmo during the Dead or Alive Festival 2018 yesterday in Japan.

And as we all know, back in March 2016, Koei Tecmo released Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PlayStation 4, loaded with sports mini-games, and of course, its “trademark” bikini babes fighting characters. But this time, rather than focusing on the fighting part, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet will focus on its new line which is a vacation-themed sports title with mini-games.

Well, this new DOA game will surely meet a whole new audience this time. Another first detail for this game is the announcement of a new character, which is Misaki, who previously appeared in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation for PC.

But that doesn’t end there, folks! Koei Tecmo has now made their official announcement about the upcoming new DOA game, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet. The company revealed the information about main differences between the Switch and PS4 version of the game, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet Free-to-Play Version, collectors edition and more!

Plus, Koei Tecmo has opened the official website for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet, which displays all the information about the upcoming game. Visit the official website here.

Basically, get the Switch version because the PS4 version is censored.

I don’t understand, does Scarlet comes as a DLC for those who already have DOAX 3?

    • Patricia Jaucian says:

      Hi Eddie,

Regarding your concern, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is not a DLC. It is a new version / new game of the DOA spinoff game. By the way, pre-order for this game is now up for grabs on our website. You might want to check it out. If you still have other concerns, please feel free to contact us.
