【TRAILER】
Fighting Ex Layer is produced by the talented group of a Japanese video game development studio, Arika. The game was first released for the PlayStation 4 on June 28, 2018, worldwide, through the PlayStation Store. It was then followed by an Arcade and PC release via Steam on November 29, 2018.
And now, courtesy by H2 Interactive, Fighting Ex Layer is coming to Asia for the PlayStation 4 system on the 28th of December this year as a Multi-Language release.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Fighting Ex Layer is the spiritual successor of Street Fighter EX series, where many of the original characters will return in their most beautiful version.

“That” EX Series Is Back!
After a long while, the EX Series loved by Fighting Game fans around the world has finally returned! The Characters Are Reborn With Beautiful New Graphics Kairi, Skullomania, Blaire, Pullum and the rest; in total 15 classic characters have been recreated with beautiful new models. Watch as the EX series is reborn and the battle unfolds with the latest graphics!
The New “Gougi System” Plays A Huge Role In Battle By fulfilling certain requirement mid-battle, your character is given amazing new abilities- that’s “Gougi”! 5 Gougi make up 1 Set which is called a “Gougi Deck”. There are 15 different Gougi Decks ready for you to try. Experiment with the different characters and Gougi Decks, and find the combination that matches your own style!
Two Unique Input Styles The game features two different input styles; “Progressive” which is a simple style that doesn’t require any complicated command inputs, and “Classic” which keeps the inputs that same as classic Fighting Games.
In addition, there will be various modes featured in this game that can be enjoyed whether in online and offline versus modes. And if you want to go solo, you can play the Arcade and Training Mode. Plus, the legendary Expert Mode from the EX Series makes its comeback! Try to clear it with every character!

- The original characters from our EX series have powered up and come back for the first time in about 20 years!! You get to see the NEW “Skullo Dream”! Lovely Hokuto changed to Beauty Shirase! The original characters: Kairi, Shirase, Hokuto, Garuda, Skullomania, Darun Mister, Allen Snider, Doctrine Dark, Blair Dame, Jack, Shadowgeist, Sanane, Hayate…and maybe more!?
- The new system called “GOUGI” is the key to play this game! By meeting certain requirements, the GOUGI will activate, and your character will gain new powers that last until the end of the match. 5 GOUGI make up 1 Deck, and each Deck is different. For example, in the case of using “Infinity” Deck; after activating Super Combos 10 times, you will be able to use Super Combos anytime you want! 5 types of GOUGI Decks are included by default, and other 10 types of Decks can be purchased by additional contents. The way you play will be changed by the GOUGI even with the same character. Find one that suits your playstyle and win!!
- Traditional Mode from EX series is here! There are 16 tasks for each character from simple ones to super challenging ones. Let’s clear one by one!
