Square Enix‘s Kingdom Hearts III has now arrived to conquer the video game industry. While many gamers are still getting the game, the Japanese gamers had it since January 25. However, Square Enix‘s Disney action-adventure game has achieved a new milestone.

Media Create has released this week’s sales in Japan and it’s prominent that Kingdom Hearts III has sold more than twice as Capcom‘s Resident Evil 2 in Japan. Kingdom Hearts III has 610,077 unit sold while Resident Evil 2 sold 252,848 alone in Japan. Plus, these number only represents from January 25 to January 27 only. Which means Square Enix‘s Kingdom Hearts III has managed to achieve this in just three days. How awesome is that? Now, let’s wait for the sales chart in the Western region.

KINGDOM HEARTS III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure.
