American developer inXile Entertainment‘s post-apocalyptic role-playing video game, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, is getting a physical release in Europe and North America for the Nintendo Switch this coming April.
Originally, the game was released for Nintendo Switch digitally on September 13, 2018. Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut is a sequel and an improved version of Wasteland 2 which has been available on PS4 and Xbox One since 2015.
Led by Interplay founder Brian Fargo, producer of the original Fallout, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut brings a whole lot of enhancements and additions that are said to “further immerse players in an epic adventure across a post-nuclear American Southwest.”
The Director’s Cut has gained plenty of positive reviews from various players on Steam, with its fully revamped visuals, the addition of perks and quirks for squad customization, new tactical attacks, and the expanded voice-over dialogue that consists of 8,000 new lines bringing the game to life more than ever before.
Get ready for more than 80 hours of gameplay as you arm your squad of Desert Rangers to survive any circumstances, utilize their skills to surpass obstacles on your own terms, and make decisions with both immediate and long-term results for the lives of each foot standing in the brink of death in the wasteland.
