Publisher Spike Chunsoft announced that their new post-apocalyptic survival game, Zanki Zero: Last Beginning will launch in Europe on April 9, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Game Overview

In a span of seven days, God has created a glorious world for mankind. But sadly, it only took one day for humanity to ruin everything in it. As days passed by, it seems like nature is seeking for its vengeance. Everyday life in the world above is slowly drifting apart. Modern civilization is a total wreck and from day to day, it just keeps getting worse.

Until one day, the most frightening disaster came rushing towards the whole globe and instantly killed most of the humanity in a single day. However, there are eight lucky people who survived the catastrophe, each one labeled with their corresponding sin.

The game brings you into the post-apocalyptic world of Gareki Island leaving behind eight lucky survivors who you will take control of all throughout the game. However, these survivors are all clones. With that, they only have a lifespan of 13 days. And within those days, they will go back from being a child to a teen, adult, and elder.

Moreover, each chapter of the game will concentrate on a different character. The player will encounter battles with various foes throughout the game. In addition, most of the enemies are animals, which will reward the player with elements and ingredients upon defeat.

And now, let us meet the lucky eight survivors you’ll be working with all throughout your journey here in Zanki Zero!

• Eight Clones, Seven Deadly Sins, Infinite Lives – Play from the perspectives of one of eight protagonists in each chapter and explore the dungeons, towers, and islands to uncover the deadly sins of the protagonists’ past
• Survival of the Fittest – Hunt for materials and food while fending off monsters in real-time battle environments, but don’t forget to sleep, eat, and go to the bathroom (seriously, it’s bad for your health and fatal for your party)
• Live, Die, Repeat – With only 13 days in one life cycle, each clone’s stats, abilities, and capabilities differ from youth to old age. Depending on how you die, you can even earn bonus upgrades for your next life cycle. Take advantage of each life cycle to the fullest.
