Get your ninja suits on and get ready to pull off your acrobatic moves as you slash your way through your enemies here in Sairento VR. Yes, you read that right. One of the most popular PC VR action games is finally dashing its way to Sony’s PSVR headset.

Mixed Realms and Perp Games proudly announced their collaboration to bring the highly acclaimed ninja action game to PSVR this year.

In fact, Aldric Chang, one of the game developers, revealed over the PSVR subreddit that their Team’s target release date for the game is on the 3rd of May this year. However, the developer clarified that the release date is still tentative as they are still waiting for Sony’s go signal. Once approved, they will still have to deal with shipping logistics and of course, the production process.

It’s a great thing that Mixed Realms has been so transparent about the development process of the game. They have been able to deliver a definite message to the fans that there’s still more work that needs to get perfectly done for them to craft the best possible PSVR game.

As of now, we are at the tail end of the approval process and we anticipate getting the green light from Sony soon. But even if we get approved immediately, given the production and shipping logistics we don’t believe that end March or early April is achievable. A more probable release date will thus be – 3rd May 2019. While it is still a tentative date – meaning there may still be changes to the date – we think that it is likely that this is the final date.

Game Overview

Sairento has been very popular for its strong cyber ninja theme. Currently, it is the only VR game where players can perform somersaults, multiple jumps, side flips, wall runs, and power slides as you hack, slash, duck, and weave through crowds of foes.

This game brings you to the world of futuristic Tokyo where you follow the role of a deadly cyber ninja. In the game, you will be having a set of weapons that include katanas, guns, bows, kunais and throwing glaives which can be improved with powerful game-changing items known as relics, to help you battle through the wave of cyber-ninja threat.

Furthermore, the game also features the ability to slow time down where you can unleash your ultimate ninja badass moves.

For an update, the team of Mixed Realms announced on Twitter that they want to make sure that everyone will get on Sairento’s hype train ahead of its release. With this, they will be releasing a bunch of gameplay videos for the game! You can check it out below.
