Set between the 21st and 22nd centuries, the Front Mission series is one of the most mature Ips developed by Square Soft. Designed to show the philosophy and the political aspects of the revolution, the enemies are an allegory of totalitarian regimes; while in every single chapter of this political sci-fi saga, any player will find a banquet filled with a lot of food for thought including the fight between good and evil, and the destructive nature of humans. In particular, Capt. Clive is interested to get all the info about USN Wanzers; a new generation of heavily armed robots, this investigation will soon turn into a storm of upheavals between the two factions, leading to the 2nd Huffman Conflict.
During the years all the aspects of this war have been revealed through games, manga, and novels making Front Mission more than a simple video game series, in fact, it can be considered more as a multimedia serial drama.
