The classic mystery, romance, visual novel, YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Kono Yo No Hate de Koi o Utau Shoujo YU-NO) by Hiroyuki Kanno will be having its remake for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. 5pb Games and MAGES are proud to announce that the remake of the 1996 visual novel will hit the store shelves on 14th of March this year.
The upcoming game was also seen in the official list on 5pb’s website. As of now, localization for the Nintendo Switch port is still unknown.

Takuya Arima is a young student whose father, a historian who has conducted various researches, disappeared recently. During a summer vacation Takuya receives a peculiar package from his missing father, along with a letter containing information about the existence of various parallel worlds. At first Takuya doesn’t take it seriously, but soon he realizes that he possesses a device that allows him to travel to alternate dimensions. Is his father alive, after all? If so, where is he?
【FEATURES】
- Travel between parallel worlds using a Reflector device employs a limited number of stones to mark a certain position as a returning location
- Retrace steps and go to an alternate universe to the time you’ve used the Reflector stone
- Implemented an original system called Automatic Diverge Mapping System, which displays a screen that you can check at any time to see the direction in which you are heading along the branching plot lines

Worry not though western fans as the North American and European releases has been confirmed for the PS4 and PC at the Anime Expo 2018 held in Los Angeles, and is slated to launch sometime this year.
Spike Chunsoft even released the first English trailer for the game which you can find below.
In fact, we already listed the western versions here on our website. However, it is still unclear if this is going to be a physical or digital release. So, both games are listed under the announced status as of the moment.
