Venezuelan studio Sukeban Games‘ visual novel inspired adventure game, VA-11 Hall-A is making its way to Nintendo’s latest console and PlayStation 4, both physically and digitally. The upcoming ports are scheduled to release on the 30th of May in Japan, via publisher Playism.

Worry not though English speaking fans, VA-11 Hall-A will also be released in the West under the management of publisher Ysbryd Games.

Game Overview

VA-11 Hall-A “Cyberpunk Bartender Action,” or also sometimes written as Valhalla, is an indie bartender simulation game with a mix of visual novel elements, cyberpunk, PC-98, and anime-inspired visuals. The game was first released for PC, Mac, and Linux in June 2016. It was then followed by a PS Vita port in November 2017.

For some of you who may not know, VA-11 Hall-A is a critically acclaimed game, resting at the peak of 10/10 score in Steam, and 83% on Metacritic. This game may be light on actual gameplay, but it will definitely give you a good experience on its humorous stories, unique work of art and gameplay. In fact, the narrative that this game weaves is extremely powerful that you can’t just make yourself stop playing it.

If you haven’t played this game before, your luck begins when the game launches this year. Follow the role of a girl named Jill who is trying to make a living as a bartender in a bar nicknamed “Valhalla,” that happens to be located in a futuristic dystopian world, where corporations reign supreme.

While Jill is trying to live her life out in peace while mixing drinks, she meets different people with various personalities. And mind you, although it is just a small bar downtown, it attracts the most fascinating people who are known as agents of change in the world.
