Bandai Namco‘s newest installment in the Super Dragon Ball Heroes series, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, is due out on April 5th. With over a week away from its release, Bandai Namco released a series of video features for the game. The first one to reveal is a video that features the Battle System of the game.

From the subject itself, the video focuses on how you should achieve victory in the game once you are thrown in the battle arena through learning some of the Battle System basics.

Plan your most effective moves, unleash your quick reflexes, reduce your opponent’s HP to zero, and achieve victory.

The next video feature in the series mainly focuses on the game’s modes. The trailer introduces the arcade mode where players can choose and relive the most iconic rival battles from the dragon ball timeline that helped to define the franchise. You can also battle with various fighters all around the globe with the game’s online battle mode. If you just want to do battle with your friends, you have the option to choose a local battle instead.

More so, a creation mode will be featured in the game where you can build card and missions from scratch. An edit card feature will also be available for you to modify the look, stats, and attack of your customized card.

Game Overview

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a card battle game that will allow players to form a team of 7 cards from a wide variety of 1,160 cards, and enjoy seven-verses-seven card-based battles. The game will feature fighters from across all the Dragon Ball universes with over 350 fighters available in its roster.

Dragon Ball fans can also expect for transformations never seen before in the series as well as a brand-new character designed by the mangaka (manga creator) of Dragon Ball Super, Toyotarou.

The game is set in a place called Hero Town which is described by Bandai Namco as an alternate reality where a Dragon Ball card game is the most popular form of entertainment.

Follow the role of the protagonist of the game named Beat and follow his adventure to become known in the world as the Super Dragon Ball Heroes’ champion. However, it will never be an easy battle. Get ready to face the games’ antagonists from the virtual game which appears in Hero Town and start destroying everything that comes in their way.

Join Beat as he jumps into the game world and teams up with various famous Dragon Ball characters as they try to bring back the peace in the real world.
