Idea Factory International has announced that the Super Neptunia RPG is coming to PC via Steam this summer following the Western localization release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this spring. In the PC Version, it will include multi-language subtitles options to choose from. The languages available are English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and French.
For the overview of the game, Super Neptunia RPG takes you to the world of Gamindustri, where 2D games reign supreme. An organization which is known as Bombyx Mori, are wholeheartedly devoted to these games forces. Its residents to churn out 2D games as offerings to their leader. In short, these 2D games are their taxes. Anybody who dares to use new technologies or whose games don’t meet their standards will be exiled to the soul-crushing Trial Grounds.
One day, a girl named Neptune awakens in this world and finds herself with no memories of anything about her except her name. As soon as the story progresses, she soon realizes that she has the power to save Gamindustri from this dark world with no real future in sight. With her newfound sense of heroism and a strange book in hand, Neptune embarks on a mission to see what she could do to hinder Bombyx Mori’s cruelty.
