3 Season Passes for Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland (JP Ver.) Revealed!
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland
PS4™ & SW – Japan
Following the release of Atelier Lulua: the Scion of Arland in Japan last March 20th, Koei Tecmo and Gust announced their DLC plans for the game. And guess what? It’s not just one, not even two, but three different season passes are scheduled to launch this Summer for the Japanese release of the game.
The three season passes are listed as follows:
- Lulua Pass – 2,300 yen plus tax
- Totori Pass – 3,200 yen + tax
- Meruru Pass – 3,200 yen plus tax
Lulua Pass
As you can see in the image above, Lulua, Eva, and Aurel are all dressed up in new costumes. Those costumes are scheduled to release on the 25th of April and can be purchased individually for 350 outside of the Lulua Pass.
Meanwhile, the Lulua pass will also include a Gust BGM Pack that comes with over 180 tracks from other Gust games including Blue Reflection, Nights of Azure series, and other Atelier games. Players can get it for 900 yen outside the Lulua Pass.
Moreover, Lulua Pass also comes with an extra hard map called, “Machina Domain,” which features extremely powerful monsters and bosses that drop rare ingredients. Plus, this post-game map lets you discover new recipes and boost items.
Totori Pass
If you want to get the above costumes for Lulua, Eva, Aurel, and Piana, you can get those once it becomes available this Summer as part of the Totori Pass. But, if you don’t own one, you can still get it individually for 350 yen plus tax.
Also, in the Totori Pass, Totori will be available as a playable character and becomes a party member from Chapter 4 onwards, that also comes with unique events focusing on her. Players without the Totori pass can get it for 1000 yen plus tax.
Furthermore, the Totori Pass will also feature additional costumes for Fiks, Nico, Rorona, and Sterk that are yet to be announced.
Meruru Pass
Fiks, Nico, Rorona, and Sterk can be dressed up with the costumes above once Meruru Pass gets available this Summer. As usual, for those without the pass, the costumes will be available for 350 yen plus tax.
Same with the Totori Pass, Meruru Pass will feature Meruru as a playable character that possesses her own unique abilities and events focusing on her. Meruru Pass non-owners can get it for 1000 yen plus tax.
Costumes for Lulua, Eva, Aurel, and Piana will also be featured in this Pass that will be revealed on a later date.
Free BGM Packs
Of course, there will also be a free update for the game! The “Atelier Series History BGM Pack” will be available as a free download starting on April 25, 2019, for everyone. This BGM PAck includes a whopping 870 tracks from the Atelier franchise from Atelier Marie to Atelier Firis.
Lastly, the “Special BGM Pack Atelier Online” will also be available on the 25th as a free download that includes 9 tracks featuring music from the Atelier Online smartphone game.

Game Overview
Follow the perspective of Rorona’s daughter which is the main protagonist Elmeluria Frixell. She’s characterized as a woman with long hair with a heart symbol designed on it. She uses her mother’s old clothes and she’s learning to become just like her mother.
Supported by her childhood best friend, the hardworking and caring Eva Armster, she works hard to reach her dream and become a well-known alchemist.
Meet old characters and revisit the land of Arland! Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is set in the world where both the old and the new will emerge to another adventure with the alchemists.
The game uses the synthesis system just like the other Atelier games. But, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland will feature new enhanced synthesis system that makes the system render in both classic and new form. Brand-new battle and exploration systems will be included in the game.
Furthermore, the character designs are made by Mel Kishida, who also worked on the three Arland games in the past.
