Duelists in the west, are you itching to get your hands on a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game? If you are, well, Konami Digital Entertainment has something for you. The company announced that a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game named Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.
The upcoming game was originally announced back in February, however, at that time, the title was only confirmed for a Japan release. But, hints for a possible localization of the game has been seen as Konami trademarked the title in the United States, Europe, and South Korea, according to Siliconera.
Finally, on March 21, Konami made it official by announcing the title with a release window of Summer 2019, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

More so, the company also provide details explaining the difference of the upcoming game, which can be seen in the caption from the image above, from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist game that was released in 2016. Obviously, this is the most noticeable changes in the game. This 9,000+ cards will be helpful in either AI duels or battles against real players that can be accessed through either local matches or Nintendo Switch Online.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is based on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game and anime, and allow players to build a deck to duel with while facing the most remarkable characters from the series’ universe. Players will also be reliving stories from the first animated series through Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V and taking on the “newest generation of Duelists from the virtual world of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS,” featuring over 100 characters to duel.

Furthermore, the Story mode of the game will allow you to take on different players while following every story from the anime. Meanwhile, if you prefer to challenge players from around the globe, you can hop into the online versus mode of the game.
