Game Overview
Embark on a journey with an orphan named Miriam who was scarred by an alchemist’s demonic curse, slowly turning her skin to a crystal. Battle your way through a castle swarmed with wicked demons as you hunt the root of all these evils and discover the way to end the curse. Welcome to the dark world of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Led by the former Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by ArtPlay, DICO, and WayForward Technologies. 505 Games got the publishing rights to release the game to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
How it All Started
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was first announced in 2015 through a Kickstarter campaign. Surprisingly, the game already garnered its $500,000 goal in just a span of 4 hours and raised over a whopping $1 million in its first day.
By the end of the campaign, the game successfully raised more than $5.5 million, making it the most funded video game through a crowdfunding campaign at that time.
