We are now in the endgame. Along with the upcoming film as a conclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Avengers Endgame, Sony Interactive Entertainment‘s Days Gone is ready for the Freakers tomorrow. Previously, Sony Bend Studios reported that this post-apocalyptic game would receive a post-launch downloadable content. The developer will release this DLC in June for FREE! It will kick off with the Survival Difficulty Mode and Weekly Challenges. Now that Days Gone is coming, get ready as the world comes for you against the horde of Freakers.

Survival Difficulty
“Survival” difficulty mode tests players by daring them to beat the story with increased difficulty settings, no fast travel or Survival Vision, and an immersive HUD that removes maps and indicators from the gameplay screen. Every tweak and change made is designed to further immerse players and ratchet up the tension to make this the definitive survival experience.
Weekly Challenges
Each week beginning in June, a new Bike, Horde, or Combat challenge will be deployed to test players even further. These challenges take key gameplay features of Days Gone, and twists them in unique ways to earn additional items and rewards. We’ll give you more information on the specific challenges down the road.
Beating the Survival Difficulty and challenges won’t be in vain—players can earn new trophies and unique bike skins to show off in photo mode to prove they’re bonafide Days Gone survivors.
For the overview of the game, Days Gone was first revealed at E3 2016. This is an open-world action game that sets in the harsh wilderness in the high deserts of the Pacific Northwest. The protagonist, Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, happens to have an existential crisis on how to survive in a place of a devastating pandemic to find a reason to be alive. Devastation, desperation, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, regret and hope–Deacon St. John must confront this tragedy to live with hope.
