Days Gone: The PS4 Exclusive Tops the UK Sales Chart
PlayStation 4™ – US,EU, JAPAN & ASIA
After a few days since the launch of the PS4 Exclusive Days Gone, it’s now conquering the sales chart in the UK regions despite the initial mixed reviews from various critics. That hasn’t halted this post-apocalyptic zombie survival game to conquer the top spot in the UK sales chart.
Days Gone is currently the biggest physical sales launch in the UK this year. Even though it received mixed reviews from game critics, that didn’t stop this Ps4 Exclusive to grab the top spot in the UK sales chart, beating Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment‘s Mortal Kombat 11 which fell to second place. Meanwhile, EA‘s FIFA 19 and Rockstar‘s Red Dead Redemption 2 claim the third and fourth spots respectively.
For the overview of the game, Days Gone was first revealed at E3 2016. This is an open-world action game that is set in the harsh wilderness of the high deserts of the Pacific Northwest. The protagonist, Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, happens to have an existential crisis on how to survive in a place of a devastating pandemic to find a reason to be alive. Devastation, desperation, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, regret and hope–Deacon St. John must confront this tragedy to live with hope.
