Rebellion Developments, the maker behind Strange Brigade, have announced that the 2012 shooting stealth game Sniper Elite V2 will get its remastered version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. It’s coming to North America, Europe, and Australia on May 14th.
Sniper Elite V2 is a third-person tactical shooter stealth video game developed and published by Rebellion Developments in May 2012. This is the sequel to the 2005 game, Sniper Elite. After seven years, we will get to experience this tactical shooting game on the newest consoles of today on May 14th.
You take control of the main protagonist, Lieutenant Karl Fairburne. He’s an Officer of Strategic Services office and a skilled sniper who’s in the capital of Germany during the final days of World War II. His mission is to capture or to eliminate the scientists and the key individuals involved in the development of the German V-2 missile as it must not fall into the hands of the Red Army.
The remastered version of Sniper Elite V2 has 4K and HDR support. Along with that, the enhanced version in terms of environments, characters, weapons, and vehicles are evident. There’s a photo mode included as you can position the camera and apply a filter to take incredible photos to share with the community. The fun part of this photo mode is you can share your epic X-ray kill camera shots.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered includes all the DLC, three new campaign levels, ten new extra weapons including Lee Enfield MK III, M1D Garrand, M1 Carbine and more to use. New playable characters are also included and you can use them in the campaign or multiplayer modes. These new playable characters are from Rebellion’s Zombie Army series.
