Game Overview
The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors or The Ninja Warriors Once Again is an upcoming beat ’em up video game developed by Natsume Atari and published by Taito. According to Resetera, the Japanese version will only be available digitally while the Asia version will be available both physical and digital.
This is the remake of the 1994 game The Ninja Warriors Again which is also the remake of the 1987 game The Ninja Warriors. So 1994 The Ninja Warriors (ニンジャウォーリアーズ) is a beat ’em up game for Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES. It was released in Japan by Taito in 1994 and 1995 by Titus in the Western regions.
According to the translation from the official website via Gematsu, this game will retain the 16-bit style to maintain the retro style feels especially for the players who are nostalgic once they grab this game. But since this is s 2019 remake of this beat ’em up game, the graphics will be enhanced covering the character resolution, pattern amount and more to match with the latest hardware of the video game consoles of today. Plus, there will be a two-player co-op mode which is not available in 1994 The Ninja Warriors.
There are new additional characters along with the Super Famicom version of The Ninja Warriors. So, let’s welcome the newest addition to the family, Yaksha and Raiden.
