From the maker of Lost Sphear and I Am Setsuna, Tokyo RPG Factory is proud to announce the release of Oninaki on August 22nd for Nintendo Switch. It was during E3 2019 Press Conference when Square Enix showed off the trailer of the said game. Will it live up to the hype just like what the other games that Tokyo RPG Factory has developed?

During the E3 2019, Square Enix shared to the excited gamers the gameplay, story, and weapons that can be used on Oninaki. As expected the visuals and colors of the game are above expectation. Well, this is not something that gamers were not surprised about. After all, Oninaki is a creation of Tokyo RPG Factory which has proven its worth when it comes to their previous games.

Oninaki will make you a hero who needs to travel between the realms of life and death to save lost souls. Saving these souls will also do you good. These saved souls will, later on, help you on your journey. In fact, different souls are there to give you different abilities. Hence, it’s your duty to save a lot of souls.

According to PC Gamer:

The game features five primary characters, all “with special Daemon attacks enhancing [their] skills and abilities”, though it appears it’ll have one main protagonist in the form of Kagachi. Kagachi will embark on an “epic adventure between the world of the Living and the realm of the Beyond”
