Astral Chain: No Planned DLC + Planned as Trilogy

Downloadable contents are now popular in the video game industry especially if you want to play your favorite game with new contents. And, the upcoming police action-adventure game developed by PlatinumGames, Astral Chain, will arrive soon. It sounds like this game has no DLC after launch.
The game director Takahisa Taura was in the interview with IGN Benelux. He was asked about the possibility of extra content for Astral Chain. According to Taura, there’s no extra content for this game but they intend to make it a trilogy.

Currently, there are no plans to publish extra content for Astral Chain. That is different for the game’s story. We’re making the game as a trilogy, and this is the first part of that trilogy. If this game sells well, we might see how the story of the series continues.
Astral Chain is an upcoming police action-adventure game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo. This game is directed by Takahisa Taura, who is the lead designer of the renowned Square Enix’s Nier: Automata, and it’s under supervision of the creator of Bayonetta series, Hideki Kamiya. Meanwhile, the characters are designed by the famous manga artist Masakazu Katsura who is known for his several works such as Wing-Man, Shadow Lady and more.
This action-adventure game is one of the most anticipated video games of 2019. So, are you ready to be in the task force against the horde of alien-like creatures that invaded the peaceful world?
